We have been supporting foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of the Arts London since 2014, at the London College of Fashion, Central St Martins, Camberwell College of Art and the London College of Communication. We work with students across different year groups and subjects such as fine art, media, graphics, illustration, fashion promotion and sound arts. Areas of support include managing the transition from school or college to university, adapting to the university environment, identifying and managing specific barriers to learning, decoding assignment briefs, communication with peers and tutors, time management and recognising and managing increasing stress. We support students who experience additional challenges, for example, students with long term health conditions, neurodiverse students, students from the LGBT+ community and international students new to London.
